                                                        OBITUARY

Patricia Ann Hughey, lovingly called Peggy was born February 24, 1945 to the late Edgar and Annie Curry Nesbitt in Stephens, Arkansas. 
She graduated from Carver High School in 1963.
She met Hosea Hughey in 1963 and they were married on February 8, 1964. Two days after marriage, she moved to Dallas, Texas to start her new life with her husband. To this union, three children were born. She also fostered a stepdaughter.
She continued her education at El Centra, Cedar Valley, Mountainview College in Dallas, Texas with a degree in childhood development to field director. She was later employed by Texas Instrument.
Her church membership includes: Beech Hill A.M.E. in Stephens, Arkansas, Ewing Avenue (Rev. Perry, Pastor) New Faith Missionary Baptist Church (Rev. Freddie Aubrey, Pastor. In 2001, God gave her husband the vision to form a new church, New Providence Missionary Baptist Church-Making her First Lady there ‘til her health failed her. She was also the president of the Mission Society.
She was preceded in death by her parents all three brothers, George, Gantt, Eddie and Charles Nesbitt and a sister, Murine “Penny” Nesbitt.
Left to cherish her sweet memories: Husband: Pastor Hosea Hughey of the home, one son: Damarkus McKeys Hughey, two daughters, LaTracy (Chris) Martin, LaShonda DeShayla (Broderick) Bacon and stepdaughter, Minister Phyliss Dewayne Proctor, one sister, Raydean Watson of Cedar Hill, TX, four grandchildren, Demarcus Rashad Hughey, Chrishara Martin, Savannah Rhodes, and Bella Faye Bacon, sisters-in-law,Earlene Gantt, Anett Nesbitt, Callie Hughey, Juanita Johnson, Loretta Madison, brothers-in-law, Don, Ernest and Artie Hughey and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
