Obituary
Felix Burris, born in Magnolia, Arkansas to the proud parents: McKinley (Bo) & Margret Davis Burris on January 16, 1930. He departed peacefully on October 2, 2012.
He accepted Christ at an early age and united with the New Bethel Baptist Church in Magnolia, AR.
He moved to Michigan when he became a young adult and lived there for many years. During that time, he chose Anna Mae Ross Burris to become his loving wife.
Upon retiring from General Motors after 37 years, they moved back to Magnolia, Arkansas and united with Unity AME Church and was a faithful member serving over the Trustee Board. He was always willing to do whatever he could for the upkeep of the church. After his health failed and he could no longer attend church, he was always concerned about what was going on at the church and was willing to support the church financially.
Those who preceded him in death are: his parents, three sisters: Joy Burris, Effie Moore and Hazel Moore all of Muskegon, Michigan and two nieces and several nephews.
Those left to cherish his loving memory are: His wife: Anna M. Burris and son: Wallace Baker; sister: Emogene Hardiman; brother, Louis (bka L.H.) (Juanita) Burris, all of Magnolia, AR. One grandson: Kevin (Deitra) Baker; one great grandson Jaden Baker; one daughter-in-law: Louise Baker, all of California. A special cousin: Jessie Davis of Flint, MI; sister-in-law: Stephanie Chestang and a brother-in-law: Victor Carter all of Magnolia, AR; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and friends
