Obituary
Willie Lee Ellis departed this life February 20, 2013 at the Magnolia Regional Medical Center.
Willie Ellis was born to the late Henderson and Eva Miles-Ellis on August 8, 1927, seven children were born from this union.
Willie worked at Magnolia Moters for many years, where he later retired.
Willie accepted Christ at an early age and became a member of the Antioch Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. Redden.
Willie was united in Holy Matrimony to Vernell Foster on December 26, 1943. To this union five children were born.
Willie was preceded in death by a son: Willie Jo Ellis; five brothers: Herman, Arthur, David, Sam, and Otis Ellis; three sisters: Cresie Utsey, Gurthia Kyle, and Love Burts. Four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
He leaves to chersih his memories and to celebrate his life, his beloved wife of sixty-nine years: Vernell Ellis of Magnolia, AR; one son: Richard Lee Ellis of Magnolia, AR; three daughters: Selma (Wortham) Hall of Stone Mountain, GA; Ida Rankin and Verta Darrett both of Magnolia, AR. Willie was blessed with seventeen grandchildren a host of great-grands and great-great grands, and other relatives and friends.
