Thelma Williams Gilmore was born on February 12, 1928 in Magnolia, Arkansas to the late Mr. and Mrs. Williams. She united with the church at a very early age. She attended Columbia High School.
Thelma met and married Eddie V. Gilmore, who was the love of her life, in Los Angeles, California where they stayed for many years.
The happy couple later moved to Magnolia, Arkansas where she united with Mt. Tabor Missionary Baptist Church for her guide in faith in Christ.
Thelma was a supervisor at Abilities Unlimited for many years. She was a very good Seamstress. She was a Mother on the Mother Board, a Deaconess, Announcer, the Financial Secretary, and the Assistant Finance Secretary.
She leaves to cherish her memories: one son: Andre (Nicole) Gilmore of Magnolia, Arkansas. Three daughters: Lulla Mae (Charles) Causey of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Karen Smith from Pine Bluff, AR and Bernice Walker of Los Angeles, CA. Mother Thelma also leaves two special grandchildren: Jessica Smith and LaDravious Gilmore and a host of other grandchildren, nephews, nieces, cousins, church family, neighbors and friends.
