                                                       Obituary

Shirley, the third child of Annie Mae Curry Smith and the late Harvey Smith was born on March 12, 1960, in Camden, AR.  Her earthly pilgrimage was finished on Friday, April 22, 2011 in McNeil, AR when she was  called home from her labors in this realm of life.

Shirley was a 1978 honor graduate of Stephens High School in Stephens, Arkansas and was enrolled in Southern Arkansas University Technical School in East Camden, Arkansas at the time of her passing.  She worked in McNeil School District's Cafeteria for 20 years - many of which she was the Supervisor.  The McNeil and Stephens School Districts merged during the Fall of 2004, and Shirley served as the Food Service Manager of the Stephens School District for the last 7 years.

Shirley accepted Jesus Christ as her Savior.  She joined the St. Stephens Baptist Church in Stephens, AR and later united with the Bethany Baptist Church Family after moving to McNeil.  Shirley served faithfully on the Usher Board, Mission Department, and Chairman of the Kitchen Committee until her death.

In October 1980, Shirley was united in holy matrimony to Carey Robinson in a merger that truly lasted a lifetime.  Two children, Terrence and Myisha Robinson, were born into this union.  Her father and a sister, Shelia Smith preceded her in death.

Remaining to delight in her memories are: Two (2) Sons: Shaunte Smith of Pine Bluff, AR and Terrence Robinson of Stephens, AR; One (1) Step-son: McKenzie Mckinney of Fargo, ND; One (1) Goddaughter: Latrena (Chris) Wyrick of Magnolia, AR; Mother: Annie Mae Smith of Rockford, IL; Three (3) Sisters: Jean (Eddie) McDaniel of Stephens, AR; Delois (Sterling) Blackmon of Rockford, IL and Shay (Michael) Dixon of Prescott, AR; Three (3) Brothers: Harvey (Tania) Smith and Charles Ray (Barbie) Smith both of Rockford, IL and Dennis (Dorothy) Smith of Atlanta, GA; Five (5) Grandchildren: Savaun Smith, Ta'Nijia and Mariah Robinson; Rashad and JaShaun Hartsfield; Three (3) Step-Grandchildren: JaQualin and Ja'Mari Young, Amar'kis McKinney; Godparents: Oree and Annie Bell Todd; Four Godsisters: Annette Todd-Page and Brenda T.
