OBITUARY
Sis. Rose Mae “Red” Smith was born August 7, 1939 in Stephens, Arkansas to the late Mr. and Mrs. Early Jones. She departed this life on June 20, 2013.
She accepted Christ at an early age and became a member of Beech Hill A.M.E. Church. She later moved her membership to St. James A.M.E. Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one (1) son, three (3) brothers, and one (1) granddaughter.
She leaves to cherish her memory: her husband: Willie Roy Smith; two (2) daughters: Burnell (Bernard) Harris of Chidester, AR and Burnett Veasy of Camden, AR; two (2) sons: Donnie (Lisa) Todd of Magnolia, AR and Jerry Smith of Camden, AR; three (3) sisters: Ida Hayes and Effie Jones both of Stephens, AR and Christine Bufford of Montgomery, AL; two (2) brothers: Billy Ray (Helen) Jones of Stephens, AR and Larry Jones of Magnolia, AR; eight (8) grandchildren; nine (9) great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
