Obituary
Brother Robert Lee Porchia Sr. was born to the late Lindsey and Alabama Porchia in the Buena Vista community. At an early age Robert joined the Good Hope Baptist Church. He parted this life on July 6, 2014.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one son: Robert Wayne Porchia and four brothers: S.L., James, WIlliam and Ernest Porchia and also by a special friend: Myra Milner.
He was united in Holy Matrimony to Julia Kay Jones and to this union six children were born: Calvin (Joyce) Porchia of El Dorado, AR; Cynthia COleman, Juliette "Teda" and Patricia "Pat" Porchia all of Camden, AR; and Cedric (Joyce) Porchia of Muskegon, MI and also Robert Lee Porchia Jr. of Detroit, MI
He also leaves to cherish his memory: two sisters: Louise Dandridage of Glendale, AZ and Maybell Elliott of Kansas City, MO; Charles (Betty) Porchia of Kankakee, IL; Cephus (Ester) Porchia of Southfield, MI and Virgil (Sherry) Porchia of Alexandria, AR; a very special daughter-in-law: Sharon Austin and a son-in-law: Phillip Coleman of Muskegon, MI; thirty-two grandchildren, forty-eight great grand children and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
