Obituary



Maxine Thompson Brice was born in Union County on October 16, 1949, to the late G.C. Thompson and Lela S. Smith Thompson.

She attended New Hope School. She was employed at Magnolia Hospital as a supervisor for 15 years and was an Avon representative. She loved meeting and spending time with her customers, they became her friends.

She joined Shady Grove Baptist Church and was a faithful member until her death. Serving as Sunday School Secretary, choir member, and any other job she was asked to do or she saw needed doing.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Sister Maxine leaves to cherish her memory (2) two sons: Alphonso Brice of Atlanta, GA and Joseph Brice (Charla) of El Dorado, AR; (2) two brothers: Frank Crayton of Las Vegas, NA and Bobby C. Thompson (Ida) of MI; (5) five grandchildren; special friends: Annie Powell of Smackover, AR, Catherine Ross, Helene Crayton of Mt. Holly, AR, and Leola Crayton of El Dorado, AR, and a host of other loving family and friends.
