Deacon Mack Hampton went to sleep with the angles on Monday, May 9, 2011. Born in Haynesville (Bethel), Louisiana on October 10, 1919 to MC and Emma Lee Evan Hampton. He was a member of Sweet Home Missionary Baptist Church, County Road 23, Emerson, Arkansas.
He leaves to cherish his loving memories, five children : Rev. Melbourne Hampton (Frances) of Dallas, TX; Edith Williams (Rev. C.R. Williams), Dennis Hatter (Sandra), and Gloria Whittaker all of Houston, TX and Diane Robinson (Henry) of Emerson, AR; One (1) sister: Clara Robinson of Magnolia, AR, twenty (20) grandchildren, twenty (20) great-grandchildren and seven (7) great great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
