Mr. Louis “LH” Burris was born on May 25, 1932 to the late McKinley “Bo” and Margaret Burris. He confessed a hope in Christ at an early age New Bethel Baptist Church in Magnolia, AR.
The Lord called Daddy home on April 05, 2019.
He was preceded in death by both his parents, a lovely wife: Juanita Burris of 60years, sisters: Joy Burris, Hazel Lee Moore, Effie Moore, and Emma Jean Hardiman, brother: Felix Burris and son: L.W Burris.
My daddy was always an external hard worker, he was mild and would help anyone. He would listen and offer great wisdom. He also loved to laugh and had a great smile. He also emphasized; you do what you supposed to do!
He owned his own Auto Body shop for more than 50 years. He opened his first Body Shop in Muskegon, Michigan.
We moved to Magnolia, Arkansas and had a Pulpwood Hauling business for a short time, and then later opened an Auto Body Shop in Magnolia, AR.
He was always fun working with him and watching him turn wrecked cars into classics and looking like new.
Daddy always loved animals. We had horses, cows, pigs and chickens. He raised a garden yearly. If someone needed food, all they had to do is ask.
He leaves to cherish his memories: children: Billy J. Burris (Elizabeth), Margaret Browning (Zim), James Burris, Robert Dawson, Floyd Dawson and Loletha Christopher, and nephew/son: Robert Hunter (Gladys).
He will be missed by his grandchildren as well as his many nieces and nephews as well as other relatives and many friends.
