Obituary
Lizzie Mae Rose was born the daughter of Ned and Plina Rose. She was born November 22, 1925 in the Free Hope Community of Magnolia, Arkansas.
She confessed a belief in Christ at an early age and united with Free Hope A.M.E. Church. She later moved to Jacksonville, AR. where she became a Certified Nursing Assistant, where she cared for the sick for many years. She then joined the Mount Pisgah Missionary Baptist Church were she was an active member. There she served on the Usher Board and was active in the Mission Department.
She then moved back to Magnolia, AR when her health started to decline. She soon joined Bethany Baptist Church of McNeil, Arkansas where she was involved in the mission. Her hobbies included witnessing, singing, and fishing.
She later moved to Denver, CO to be with her son whom she enjoyed the rest of her life with and became a member of Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church of Denver, CO. with Rev. Manning Perkins as her Pastor until her death.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, two sisters, and three brothers. On Friday, July 12, 2013 the angel of death came and took Lizzie spirit to her eternal home.
She leaves to cherish her memories: Charles Ray Easter (Donna) of Denver, Co; five grandchildren: Lee Otis Williams, Jr of Little Rock, AR; Lee Oliver Williams of Magnolia, AR; Kizzy Crockett of Magnolia, AR, Kristie Givens of Little Rock, AR and Isaiah Easter of Denver, CO; one sister: Lizzie Lee Cravin of Los Angeles, CA; one brother: Jessie Lee Rose of Magnolia, AR; eight great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
