OBITUARY
Mr. L.T. Thomas was born July 17, 1926 to the late Tim Thomas and Jurushia Kirk Thomas of Haynesville, La.
He was married to his wife Lillie Bell for 64 wonderful years and from this union four children were born, Betty Marie, Elbert T., Augustene and Johnny Ray.
Mr. L.T. Joined Dolly CME Church at an early age where he later served on the Trustee board and maintained the church grounds as needed until his health began to fail him and continued in emeritus status.
He worked in Shreveport and other areas in construction and concrete masonry and later at the La. Army Ammo Plant in Minden, La.
Leaving to cherish his memory are his four children, Betty Thomas Green (Roosevelt) Elbert T. Thomas (Marcella) Johnny Ray Thomas (Doris) of Haynesville, La. and Augustene T. Lawrence (Clyde) of Lake Charles, La.,12 Grandchildren, 32 Great Grandchildren, 10 Great-Great Grandchildren, one niece and three nephews.
