    Obituary

Alabama Jackson Todd was born in Stephens Arkansas on January 25, 1932 to the late Sue Emma Hunter Jackson and the late Lee Andrew Jackson. She was the 5th born of 14 siblings. She passed away peacefully on April 19, 2018 in Germantown, TN.  
Alabama confessed her faith in Christ an early age and became a member of Greater St. Paul Baptist Church in Camden, Arkansas. She was an active member of the Choir, Deaconess, Sunday School Secretary, Finance Committee and the Ada B. Rogers Circle, until her health began to fail her. 
Alabama attended school in Stephens, AR and graduated from Lincoln High School in Camden Arkansas, Class of 1951. She attended college at Arkansas Baptist, and was employed in the Camden School District until she retired. She loved to travel, read her bible, spending time with family and friends, going to Camden-Fairview Basketball games with Greg Smith, and putting together jigsaw puzzles and playing Spider Solitaire. In addition one of her specialties was baking.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband - Joe Todd Sr., 4 sisters - Delois Todd, Juanita Burris, Annie G. Torrence and Reonia Taylor, 5 brothers - Alvin Todd, Chester Todd, Harvey Jackson, Herman Todd, and James Todd. 1 daughter-in-law, Cheryl E. Todd, and 2 sisters-in-law Charlotte Todd and Claudine Scott Todd.

She leaves to cherish her memory 4 sons, Frankie Todd, Camden, AR, James Todd, Detroit, MI, Byron (Ann) Todd, Tallahassee, FL; Joe (Juanita) Todd Jr., Memphis, TN; Jimmy (Daphne) Todd, Columbus, OH Keitron Todd(Cheryl-deceased), Bel Air, MD; 2 step-sons, Frankie Todd, Camden, AR, James Todd, Detroit, MI, 1 sister, Euradell Ward, Sherwood, AR; 4 brothers, Early Todd, of Milwaukee, WI, Jerry Todd, Dallas, TX, Joe (Virginia) Todd, Magnolia, AR and Robert (Delois) Todd Modesto, CA. 11 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
