Obituary
Or beloved mother, Mrs. Jimmie Lee Woods was born on March 04, 1933 to the late Wiley C. Warren, Sr. and Belle Dora Jackson Warren in the St. Matthew community near McNeil. She departed to her heavenly home on January 04, 2018.
Jimmie attended school in Columbia County and graduated from Columbia County High School in 1950.
Jimmie accepted Christ at a young age and joined St. Matthew Missionary Baptist Church. Here she was a Choir member, served with the Mission, Kitchen and Benevolent Ministries. She was an active member until she moved to Little Rock to live with her daughters. Her faith was the cornerstone of her life. She read her bible and Christian material daily, and shared her faith with her children and others.
Jimmie was married to the late Curtis Woods. To this union eight children were born. Harold, her only son, preceded her in death.
Jimmie is survived by seven daughters: Linda K. Phillips, Sharon D. Woods and Teresa A. Woods of Memphis, TN; Nora J. Smith (Keith) of Pine Bluff, AR; Dora J. Woods and Nona R. Woods(Sally) of Little Rock, AR; Valeria Barber(Larry) of Wichita, KS
One sister: Chelsea Sandifer, eight grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, seven sisters-in-law, two brothers-in-law and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends
