Obituary
   James Jackson was born June 6, 1935 in Emerson, AR to David and Menlar Jackson.  He was proceeded in death by his parents, three sisters and one brother.
   James accepted Christ at an early age and united with the Pine Hill CME Church, Emerson, AR. After relocating to Magnolia, he united with the Trinity CME Church.  James was an active and faithful member until his health began to fail.  He served Trinity as a steward, usher, choir member and assistant to the kitchen committee.
   James was a graduate of McMitress School, Emerson, AR.
   He met and married Miss Lula Bell Brice in 1977.  They were married 34 years.  James was employed with Deloach Construction Co.  After retirement, he was employed with the City of Magnolia.
   He departed this life here on earth on Sunday morning, January 22, 2012 in his home.
   James is survived by his wife Lula Bell, and a son Shawn, of the home. A daughter Kelly Smith (Lee) and one grandson, Jamie, all of Magnolia.  Two sisters, Irene Bullard of pine Bluff, AR, Darlene Tucker of Magnolia, AR, one brother  David Jackson of Ft. Washington, MD, a special nephew Lawrence (Elaine) of Magnolia, sister-in-law Gloria (Larry) of Magnolia, AR, several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
