Reflection on the life of
James “Snow” Hughey
Brother James Hughey was born to the parentage of Joseph and Gillie Holley-Hughey on October 27, 1943 in Stephens, Arkansas.
He worked at Potlatch in Prescott, Arkansas for eighteen years and then at Delta Timber for seven years.
He departed this life on May 29, 2015 in Columbia County, he was preceded in death by both parents, one sister: Mae Ella Matthew and one brother Joe Lewis Hughey.
He leaves to morn: one daughter: Shemakia Hughey, one son: James Hughey and three grandchildren: Shermaria Mixon, Kiara Hughey, Ezekiel Brown all of Texarkana, Texas. One sister: Edna Rene (Late Marvin, Sr) Watts of Rosston, Arkansas, two brothers: Clifton (Lecie) Hughey of Prescott, Arkansas and A.C. Lidge of Los Angeles, California and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends that loved him.
