Obituary


     Jackie L. McCoy, the third child of the late Lorene and Ellis McCoy, was born on November 25, 1958, in Stephens, Arkansas.  His earthly departure was on March 28, 2011.
Jackie joined the Cedar Grove Baptist Church at an early age.

He was a member of the Stephens High School class of 1976.  He received a honorable discharge from the United States Army on September 13, 1977.  He was the ‘‘mechanic’’ for the Stephens community.

Jackie was preceded in death by his loving parents and a brother, John McCoy.

He leaves to cherish his memories: three sisters, Diane McCoy of Camden, AR, Mary Arnold (Tommy) of Rockford, Il, Judy McCoy (Miller Adair) of Stephens, AR; five aunts, Gertie Hughes, Corene Todd, Carrie J. Tooks, Billie Jean Wyrick and Rosie Smith; one uncle, Willie Roy Smith; one special cousin, Josephine Harris and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
