Rev. Hamp S. McGraw, Sr. was born October 1, 1924 to the late Monroe and late Pauline Crawford.

He was preceded in death by his parents, three (3) brothers: Jessie Lee McGraw, Willie Lee McGraw and Bill McGraw; two sisters: Roberta Williamson and Channie Lee Mallory.

He married Mary Francis Mitchell in 1946 and to that union five (5) children were born.

Rev. McGraw lived to love and he loved to live. He lived a life with steps order by God. He loved the Lord and he heard his cry. He fought a good fight, he finished his course and now he is gone to get his great reward (A Heavenly Home).

Rev. Hamp McGraw, Sr leaves to cherish his memories his wife: Mary Francis McGraw, five (5) children: Hamp, Jr (Mary Ann) McGraw, Helen (Eugene) Lewis, Kenneth McGraw, Tommie McGraw and Emmett McGraw. He also leaves twelve (12) grandchildren, six (6) great-grandchildren, two (2) great great-grandchildren 
; three (3) sisters: Mary Weathers and Alzener Peny of California, Gladis Campbell of Shreveport, LA; one (1) brother: Roy Lee McGraw of Chicago, IL and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins relatives and friends.

We loved him but God loved him more. Rev. McGraw always said: “I Love you and ain’t nothing you can do about it.” 

I heard a voice from Heaven saying unto me; write, blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth says the spirit, they may rest from their labours and their works do follow them, Rev. McGraw Rest in Peace.
