Eccles.-3:1- TO EVERYTHING THERE IS A SEASON, A TIME TO BE BORN:Gurtha Lene Young was born March 03, 1954 to Dextie and Gurtha Gulley.
John-3:16-WHOSOEVER BEHEVETH: Gurtha obeyed the gospel and was added to the Church of Christ in 1985.
Eccles.- 3:8- A TIME TO LOVE: Gurtha and Arlanders Young was united in holy matrimony March 04, 1985.
Eccles. 3:4- A TIME TO WEEP: Gurtha was preceded in death by her father, Dextie Gulley; two (2) sisters: Charlie Mae Purifoy and Sandy Sue Williams and brother: Henry Edwards.
Eccles. 3:2- A TIME TO PLANT: Gurtha early years of education was received in Prescott, Arkansas. In 1994, she received her certificate as a Certified Surgical Technician. At the time of her passing, she was employed with Nashville General Hospital in Nashville, TN.
She was a faithful member of Rosston Road Church of Christ until her death.
Pro. 3:24- THOU SHALL LIE DOWN AND THY SLEEP SHALL BE SWEET: Gurtha went into a peaceful, sweet sleep on September 13, 2018 at Tri-Star Summit Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee.
John 14:18- I WILL NOT LEAVE YOU COMFORTLESS: Gurtha leaves her husband of thirty-three (33) years, Arlander Young of Rosston, AR to cherish her memories; her mother: Gurtha Mae Edwards of Rockford, IL; six (6) sisters: Marketa Thomplison, Brenda Lyons, Marilyn Jones, Christine Gulley, Linda Gulley and Jearldine Edwards all of Rockford, IL, two (2) brothers: Christopher Gulley and Jerel Gulley of Rockford, IL, six (6) sister-in-laws: Loreace (Martin) Gulley, Joyce Washington, Evelyn (Leo) Cameron of Dallas, TX, Gwendolyn (Charles) Reed of Lancaster, TX, Clara (William) Gulley of Chidester, AR and Marion McClain of Richardson, TX, three (3) brother-in-laws: Charles (Clara) Young of Dallas, TX, Clyde Young of Lancaster, TX , Ronnie Young of Mesquite, TX and a host of special nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives.
