Obituary
George was born on October 7, 1930 in McNeil Arkansas to the late
George Turner Sr. and Valor Victoria (Cornelious) Turner. He was
married to the late Bobbie (Jones) Turner. He worked until retirement
as a lead man for Alumax in Magnolia Arkansas for over 30 years. George
was a wonderful, kind, loving man, and a great provider. He usually
remained very low key and was well known for his frankness, great sense
of humor, and deep devotion to his family. He enjoyed gardening,
hunting, fishing, and playing PIC 3 and PIC 4.
George is also preceded in death by sons George Earl Turner and Royce
Maurice Turner; brothers Leon Turner and Frank Turner
George leaves to cherish his memory his children James Bernard Turner,
DeNoris Turner, Barbara Renia Payne, Vernon Roy Turner, Evelyn Gail
Pickens, and Gwendolyn Annette Turner, daughter-In-laws Vickie Turner,
Vickie English, Regina Turner, and Tabitha Turner, son-in-law Chester
Payne. Eleven grandsons: Fredrick, Marcus, Matthew, Maurice, Darrick,
Justin, Christian, Eric, TraMel, Narrius, and Dell. Nine
granddaughters: Danielle, Danyell, Marquita, Dominque, Lacora,
NaStadja, Victoria, Valerie, and Britnee. Sister-in-laws Mossie Walker, Martha Jones,
and Buelah Jones. And a host of great-grandchildren,
nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends. Special friends Christine
Bailey, Jonathan Harris, John Lockhart, Linnie Bell Mixon, Corean Harper, Teresa Cornelious, Peter
Cornelious, Alvin and Pam Blake, Robert Ross, and Sharon Ross
Your purpose on earth has been fulfilled.
