Obituary

Ester Mae Childres was born March 21, 1927 to the late Will McDaniel and Allie Paschal McDaniel.  

She confesses a hope in Christ and united with Friendship Baptist Church where she served as Assistant Superintendent until her health failed.

April 11, 1955 she was joined in Holy Matrimony to Andrew Childres, to this union three (3) children were born.

Ester Mae Childres passed away into her Savior arms, Saturday, May 3, 2014.

She was preceded in death by her husband: Andrew Childres, parents, two (2) sisters: Geneva McDaniel Wilborn and Reder Mae McDaniel Davis; two (2) brothers: L.C. McDaniel and Noah McDaniel and one (1) granddaughter: Sameka Faye Boone.

Cherishing her memories are two (2) sons: Michael (Patricia) Childres of Mt. Holly, AR and Davey (Kaye) Childres of Midlothian, TX and one (1) daughter: Rosemary Childres (Bernard) of Mt. Holly, AR, two (2) grandsons: DeAndre Childres and Samuel (Meisha) Boone, Jr.; two (2) granddaughters: Ashley Childres and Bridget Gulley, five (5) great grandchildren: Damian Childres, Myah Childres, Kayla Childres,  Isaiah Gulley and Xavier Gulley; one (1) sister: Catherine Jones of Grand Rapids, Michigan and one (1) brother: Melvin McDaniel of El Dorado, AR and a host of nieces and nephews.
