God saw me getting weary, so he did what he knew was best for you and me. He came and beaconed me, it’s time to come and rest. He gently closed my loving eyes, and whispered, peace be thine.
Erma Denise Cornelious Williams was born February 12, 1956 to the late Harvey James Cornelious and the late
Erma Jean Heard Cornelious in Columbia County. She was one of five(5) children. Erma united with
Bethany Baptist Church at an early age and graduated from McNeil High School in 1974. She later married Johnnie Ray Williams and moved her membership to Free Union A.M.E. Church in Magnolia, and later resided at Early View A.M.E. Church, and became a faithful member. Sister Erma was the church Secretary, a member of the Missionary Board,a dedicated choir member and work faithfully where ever she was needed in the church until her health failed. She loved her family faithfully, she also loved playing with her grandchildren, dancing and having fun.
Proceding her in death was her father, Harvey James Cornelious and mother, Erma Jean Cornelious.
She leaves to cherish her memory and mourn her passing: her husband, Johnny Ray Williams; three (3) children Ronnodo D. Grant (Valorie) of Smackover, AR, Kevin Williams of Magnolia, AR; and Brenda Denise Jones (Kevin) of Emerson, AR. Two (2) brothers: James Cornelious (Vicki) of Waldo, AR and Delwyne Cornelious of McNeil, AR; three (3) sisters: Teresa Jones of Texarkana, AR, Helen Jones (Billy Ray) of Stephens, Arkansas and Lisa Green (Rodney) of McNeil, AR and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
