 Obituary
Sis. Effie Gen Alexander was born November 20, 1914, to Edward and Willie Ann Seals in Magnolia, Arkansas.
She attended public school in Magnolia, Arkansas.  She later met Theotis Alexander Sr., they were married in 1929.  To this union six children were born.  Three children and her husband preceded her in death.

Effie obeyed the Gospel of Jesus Christ in 1953, under the late Robert Lee James, minister of Westside Church of Christ, Waldo, Arkansas.  She attended  Bible class weekly, and took care of the Communion trays.  She was a faithful member until she relocated to Camden, Arkansas in 1986.  She later attended Madison Church of Christ where shortly her illness disabled her.  She was a good housewife and excellent mother who raised her children and served the Lord.

She leaves to mourn her death two daughters; Betty Lois Freeman of Camden, Arkansas and Lillie Jean Patton (William) of Las Vegas, Nevada; one son, Theotis Alexander, Jr. (Norma) of Las Vegas, Nevada; she leaves thirteen grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren, seven great-great grandchildren and one great-great-great grandson; one brother, J.C. Seals of Dallas, Texas and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
