Earvin Mullins was born May 24, 1941 in Mt. Holly, Arkansas to Sterling Mullins and Lettie Moore Mullins.  He departed this life on July 12, 2013, at John R. Williamson Hospice House in El Dorado, Arkansas.

Earvin graduated from New Hope High School, Mt. Holly in 1959.  He united with New Hope Baptist Church at an early age and remained there until his health failed.  Brother Mullins served as president of the Usher Board, treasurer of the Benevolent fund, and a member of the men's Sunday school class and Mt. Holly Community Male Chores.  He also served as the church custodian for a number of years.  Brother Mullins loved his church and could and could be found inviting someone to Sunday service.
