Obituary  

Brother Earnest “Billy” Witcher, son of the late Joshua Witcher and the late Roosevelt Standoak, was born August 24, 1940 in Waldo, AR where he grew up and moved to Canton, Texas where he met and married Gloria Sue Taylor. To this union, three children were born. He later moved to Dallas, Texas and lived there for several years and then he later moved back to Waldo, Arkansas. 

Earnest attended Shady Grove Church as he was growing up. After returning home, he worked on the farm of Mr. Arthur Miner.

On September 7, 2016 in the Magnolia Health and Rehab in the early part of the morning, God almighty called him home.

Bro. Witcher is preceded in death by his parents, sisters: Classie Williams, Mae Lee Dennis, and Lee Verda Bailey; brothers Harvey, Lee Roy, Burnest, Joe Rell, Roedell and four other “child and infant” siblings.

He leaves on this side of eternity his children, Marcus, Sheldon, and Ophelia Witcher, all of Dallas, Texas. Brothers: Odell (Irma) Witcher of Dallas, Texas and Chester (Earsa) Witcher of Waldo, Arkansas; one sister Winnie Talley Sharp of Magnolia, Arkansas, grandchildren, great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
