Obituary
Sister Dorothy Williams, of Mt. Holly AR departed this earthly life, June 29, 2018 at Life Touch Hospice Center in El Dorado, AR. She was born June 30, 1936 in Mt. Holly, AR to Robert and Maggie Martin that preceded her in death.
Dorothy was a member of St. Matthew Methodist AME Church during her younger years as a devoted Christian and later joined Friendship Baptist Church, where she became a devoted and beloved Deaconess. During the closing of Friendship Baptist Church, she joined Shady Grove Baptist Church with her beloved husband of 62 years.
Dorothy leaves to cherish many loving memories with her husband J.C. Williams, her sister Christine Denny, her children Lonell V. Williams (Kathy Williams), Angel Phillips (Robert Phillips), Regina Clemons (Randy Clemons), eight (8) grandchildren Christopher Williams, Andrew Phillips, Camille Williams, Brandon Phillips, Arneshia Clemons, Issiah Phillips, Demetrius Williams, and Taylor Clemons, one (1) great grandchild and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
She was predeceased by her parents, two (2) brothers Robert and Arthur Martin, and two (2) sisters Catherine Martin (Ross) and Angeline Martin (Whitelow)
The family of Dorothy Williams acknowledges with deep appreciation the many comforting messages, prayers and other expressions of kindness and concern. We would like to express our love, our thanks, and our blessings to all who have offered their support to the family during our time of need.
