Obituary
On April 20, 1958 a baby girl named Debra Ann came bouncing into this world to the parentage of Charles Henry and Lurlene Sanders. Final demised November 03, 2019 at Chi St. Vincent Hospital in Little Rock, AR.
Debra was a member of New Union AME Church, but regular attended church in McNeil, AR. with her granddaughters.
Debra was a 1976 graduate of Stephens High School in Stephens, AR. Debra’s life centered around her family and especially her grands, nieces and nephews. She taught them how to be tough and saved them from getting ‘Whoopings’. When she wasn’t able to save them, she would tell them to “Stand there, grit yo teeth and don’t cry.” She was the family’s protector. In her prime she would go from zero to a hunnad real quick.
Debra is preceded in death by her father, Charles H. Sanders, paternal grandparents: Taft Diola Sanders, Maternal grandfather: Leroy Green, Sr., one child: Raytavious, deceased spouses: Ray C. Curry and Timthy Cann.
Cherishing her loving memories: Husband: Leon Warner of Fordyce, AR; mother: Lurlene Sanders of Stephens, AR, children: Rayus Cann, Eric Warner, Patrick (Ann) Warner, Tameka Avery and Tamika (Steven) Stanley; grandchildren: Shawana Curry, Rayshell Curry, Taliyah Thrower, Ryleigh McKinney, Braven Warner; great grandchildren: Tyus Burton, Malayshia Cooper, Daunta Kimble, Nariah Stanley and Steven Stanley Jr., grandmother: Laura Green Lewis, brother: Charles Randy Sanders of Little Rock, AR, sisters: Vanessa (Lessly) Banks and Belinda (Bruce) Porchia both of Stephens, AR, and Sharon (Jerry) Frazier of Magnolia, AR. One aunt: Linda Kroger of CA, one uncle: Leroy Green, Jr. of TX, other aunts, uncles, sister-in-laws, brother-in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
