Obituary
Curtis Weaver born October 28, 1936, in McNeil, Arkansas and departed this life on July 25, 2012. He was a long-time resident of Ft. Worth, Texas. He loved to play Dominos with his family. He loved gardening and most of all he LOVED his Family! Papa was always available to pick up grandkids from school. He was affecitonally called 'Papa Curtis' by his grandchildren. He was employed in the construction industry for many years and retired. He served in the United State Army.
Survivors include:
Three children: Curtis DeWayne Weaver-Ft. Worth, Texas, Keith Bernard Weaver-Memphis, TN; Wanda Yvette Alexander(Kenneth), McNeil, Arkansas.
Four Brothers, Two Sisters: Gregory Hunter(Karen)-Memphis, TN; James Arthur Hunter, Jr-Ft. Worth, Texas, Reginald Hunter(Yoon)-Ft. Worth, Texas; Nelson Earl Hunter-Ft. Worth, Texas; Barbara Williams(Robert)-Lafayette, La; Delores Hunter-Shreveport, La., the Skalig Lee family and Paul Bowen, 13 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
Curtis was proceeded in death by his parents, James Arthur Hunter, Sr (father) and Genevia Weaver (mother); Donna Robinson (daughter), Ricardo Robinson (grandson),Kadarian Weaver(grandson).
Curtis will be sadly missed because of his love for family. He was the apple of his grandchildren’s eyes! He loved gardening and playing Dominos with his family.
