Curtis Alford “Doodie Baby” Fields was born October 16, 1948 to the late Earlie Fields and Estella Rose
Fields of Emerson, Arkansas. Curtis was united in marriage to Gladys Fields on February 22, 1969.
Employment- Weyerhaeuser Company from 1972- 2004, the year his health started to fail.
Curtis was a member of Pine Hill CME Church and was a 1967 graduate of McMittress High School in Emerson, AR.
Curtis died Wednesday, December 19, 2012 at 9:30am in the home.
He leaves to cherish a loving and devoted Wife of the home - Rev. Gladys Watts Fields
A Loving Mother- Estella Fields of Emerson, Arkansas.
Children: 4 Daughters- Jackie (Mike) Lane of Haynesville, LA, Jacquelyn (Terry) Jackson of Dallas, TX, Yolanda (Carlton) Franklin of Magnolia, AR, and Latina (Stanley) Robinson of Strong, AR. 1 Son: Marcus (Kimberly) Fields of Albequerque, NM.
15 Grandchildren: Alisha, Tabatha, Keasha, Bionca, Kedrick, Charity, Ke’Aire, Alandra, Travier, Raylon, Satajah, Jacory, Cana, Mykayla, and Niya.
4 Great-Grandchildren: Hayden, Braylon, and Brent. 1 Great Grand Daughter preceded him in death: Ky’Leigh Franklin
7 Brothers: Willie (Dorothy) Fields of Atlanta, GA, James Fields of Chicago, IL, Charles Fields and Nathaniel (Doris) Fields of Emerson, AR, Ronald Ray (Ann) Fields of Homer, LA. 2 Brothers preceded him in death: Donnie Fields and Donald Ray (Mary) Fields.
7 Sisters: Ira Jean Hampton and Rosie Lee Kearney of Dallas TX, Veneria Crosby of Las Vegas, NV, Gloria (Carnell) Thomas, Sherrie (Cedric) Hardwell, and Barbara Glover of Emerson, AR. 1 Sister Preceded him in death: Wanda Lou Williams.
