Cleo Jones-Murray was born December 12, 1931 in Stephens, AR to the late Smead Walker and Gladys Jones.
She confessed Christ at an early age at Macedonia Baptist Church. She married in 1950 to Leroy Murray and to this union 5 children were born, one, Rev. Major(Air Force Branch) Lee Herman Murray whom, preceded her in death. During this time she joined Bethany Batist Church where she faithfully served missions as Secretary-Treasurer; Sunday School; Bible Class; and was choir President for 30 years.
She leaves to enliven her memories: four (4) children: Ester F. Murray and Ungra Murray, both of McNeil, AR; Rev. Samuel (Celeste) Murray of Arlington, TX; and Renardo (Carolyn) Murray of El Dorado, AR; one (1) sister: Inez Thomas of Houston, TX; twelve (12) grandchildren, fifteen (15) great grandchildren and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
