Claude David (Syrup) McDaniel was born February 9, 1954 in Village, AR to the late Coleman McDaniel and the late Esrine Henry.
He tragically departed this life on Thursday, March 5, 2015 at his home in Magnolia, AR.
He was preceded in death by his father, Coleman McDaniel, mother Esrine Henry, his sister Francis McDaniel, one brother Clide McDaniel.
Claude was a 1972 graduate of Magnolia High School. He formerly was employed as a production manager at SMI of Magnolia. Claude was a very wise man. He worked well with his hands and was a good artist. He was known by many as a walking encyclopedia.
He leaves to cherish his memory his wife Shirley McDaniel, Ruston, LA, one daughter Michelle Shanise (Mario) Jones, Sacramento, CA three sons, Derrick (Latasha), Rocky Mount, North Carolina, Lance McDaniel, Chase McDaniel, both of Ruston, LA, four brothers, Charles Henry, Huey P. Henry, Jr., Horace Henry all of Magnolia, Coleman D. McDaniel, Flint, MI, one sister Mae D. Hildreth of Village, AR, a loving sister-in-law Sylvia McDaniel, 13 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, a very special niece Denise Milligan of Desoto, TX and a host of other relatives and friends.
