Obituary
Christine Moore-Jackson was born to the late Genie Moore and the late Daisy Young-Moore of Waldo, AR, Feb. 28, 1939.  She was reared by her grandfather, the late George Williams, and her grandmother, the late Jewell Williams.

She went home to her Lord and Savior on January 24, 2012, at her home in Magnolia, AR.

Christine united with Davis Chapel Baptist Church in Waldo at an early age.  She attended and graduated from Waldo Tigers High School in 1958.

She met and married her soul mate Thurman Jackson in 1961.  She then United with St. Matthews Baptist Church in McNeil, AR.

She received her degree in cosmetology in Texarkana, AR and was the owner and operator of Christine’s Beauty Shop in Magnolia.

She and Thurman also worked together as ground keepers for the Twenty-third Psalm Cemetery and Memorial Park Cemetery in Magnolia.

Christine is preceded in death by two sisters: Ernestine Warren and Norma Stephens; and a brother: William Moore.

She leaves to cherish her memory:  her loving husband: Thurman Jackson; her sister: Maxine Clayton of Magnolia, AR; her brother: Hubert Moore of Muskegon, MI; an aunt: Gladys Young of Lumber community; several nieces and nephews, cousins, relatives, and friends.  She is also cherished by a special aunt and friend, Willie B. Jackson; and a special friend: Lou Ellen Cole-Hughey.
