Obituary
Christeen Brown, nee Lawson was born in Stephens, Arkansas to Minnie and George Johnson on April 21, 1924. She departed this life on September 25, 2011.
She was a very active member of Mt. Tabor Baptist Church for many years.
Christeen’s parents, George and Minnie Johnson preceded her in death; as well as her siblings, brothers; Grady Johnson, Clinton Johnson, and Floyd Johnson and sisters Georgia Lee Johnson, Azarene Jones and Willie Mae Willingham.
She leaves to mourn her passing: her daughters Vertis Holt and Vera Lawson of Elyria, Ohio, two grandchildren: Felicia Lawson of Columbia, South Carolina and Crystal Holt of Elyria, Ohio, two great grandchildren TeLeah and Freshus Turner of Elyria, Ohio and several nieces and nephews.
She joined Joe C. Lawson in Holy matrimony. Born to them were 5 children: three children from that union; Nettie Faye, Ruby Dean and Troy preceded her in death.
