OBITUARY
Charlene Johnson was born to Charlie Cooper and Nell Rose Green on June 29, 1930 in Haynesville, Louisiana.
She was joined in Holy Matrimony to Willie Johnson, Sr.
She was a lifetime member of Macedonia Baptist Church in McNeil, AR.
She was a housewife who enjoyed her family, working in the church, helping others and cooking.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents and four siblings.
She leaves to cherish her loving memories: two (2) daughters: Cassandra (Royce) Poole of Magnolia, AR and Gloria (Billy) Steward of McNeil, AR; six sons: Oree (Helen) Manley of Camden, AR, Willie (Rhonda) Johnson, Jr., Larry Johnson, Jimmy (Lesa) Johnson, Charles (Lesa) Johnson, Edward (Mekia) Johnson all of McNeil, AR; five (5) sister-in-laws; twenty-three (23) grandchildren, twenty-seven (27) great grandchildren a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
God Knows Best
There is an open gate at the end of the road,
Through which each must go alone
And there is a light we cannot see
Where Our Father claims his own.
Beyond the gate our loved ones find
Happiness and rest
And there is comfort in the thought that,
A loving God Knows Best!
