Obituary
Calvin Jones Sr., 73, of Stephens, AR died Thursday, June 11, 2020 at CHI
St. Vincent Hospital in Hot Springs, AR. He was born December 23, 1946, to Clifton
and Lillie Mae Jackson Jones.
He was preceded in death by both his parents, loving companion of 30 years, Alyce
Fernandes, one daughter: Myniesha Coward; two grandchildren: Anthony
Paolitano, and Keisha Brown; and four brothers: Earnest, Jerry, Jorell, and Clifton Jr.
Survivors include four daughters: Belinda, Carla, Tina, and Rochelle all of MA.
Three sons: Mark Fernandes of Florida, Carlton of MA, and Calvin Jr. of OH. Two
brothers: Burnis of Stephens, and Kenneth of El Dorado. Two sisters: JoAnn of
Stephens, and Diane of TX. Thirty-seven grandchildren, 43 great grandchildren, one
great-greatgrandchild, one special nephew Desmond Evans, his partner Vicki
Royster and a host of nieces, nephews, and other family.
VISITATION: Wednesday, June 17, 2020 between the hours of 2:pm – 5:pm at Marks
Funeral Home Chapel in Magnolia, AR.
***Funeral services will be held at a later date in Taunton, MA. In lieu of flowers for this
celebration for those who would like to donate toward flowers for the formal funeral
services in Massachusetts are welcomed to do so.
