Obituary

Booker T. Hendricks, Jr., the son of the late Booker T. Hendricks, Sr. and Fannie Mae Hanson Hendricks was born October 7, 1940 in Emerson, Arkansas. 
 
Booker was raised in a strong Christian family and attended Mount Israel CME Church.  As a child, he accepted Christ as his Lord and personal Savior.

He attended high school at McMittress High School in Emerson, AR, where he graduated.

He united in holy matrimony with the late Erma Jean Talley. They were married 51 years.   Together, they loved, nurtured and provided a Christian home for their children, April, Victor and Andrew.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Erma Jean Talley Hendricks, his mother and father, a sister, Willie Mae Kilpatrick, and a brother, Vernon Hendricks, Sr.
 
Those left to cherish his memories are, a daughter, April Hendricks Sasser (Eddie, Jr.), two sons, Victor Hendricks of Seoul, South Korea, and Andrew Hendricks of Magnolia, AR, eight grandchildren, a step-mother, Oda Mae Hendricks of Little Rock, AR, three sisters, Eadder Mae Moore of San Antonio, TX, Earnestine Lang (A.C.) of Pine Bluff, AR, and Velma Ridgell (Arthur) of Pine Bluff, AR, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
