Obituary

Without warning death took a beautiful flower from our garden on April 16, 2014.  When sister Bettye Kimble Norton was called home.  She was born September 16, 1946 to the late Roosevelt and Annie Kimble.

On September 16, 1982, she married Joseph Joe Norton.  To this union two children were: Andre and Jonathon Norton.  She attended McMitress High School.  She worked for Home Health serving many clients.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, four children: Earl, Kevin, Jimmy and Daryl; three sisters: Clydie Kimble, Lizzie Mae Kimble, Gertrude Kimble and one brother: Roy Lee Kimble.

Sister Bettye accepted Christ at an early age at Sweet Home Baptist Church.  In 1979, she became a member of Roadside Church of God In Christ.  She was a faithful member until death.  She served as a Aspiring Missionary, prayer Warrior, Adult Sunday School Teacher, Usher, Choir Member, Custodian, and Kitchen Helper.  She was also a member of Mothers in Prayer for Ten years.  She loved singing, praying and helping others.  She was a sweet, kind and loving person.  She left an impact on everyone she met.  She loved fishing and hunting for a bargain at the garage sales and she also loved her family.

She leaves to cherish her precious memories: two(2) sons: Andre (Charity) Norton of Dewitt, AR and Jonathon (Abigail) Norton of Indiana, IL; one (1) sister: Shirley Kimble of Emerson, AR; three (3) brothers: Lawrence Kimble of Emerson, AR, L.D. Kimble of Magnolia, AR and Charles "Blue" Kimble of Haynesville, LA; one sister-in-law: Hester Lindsey of Emerson, AR; one brother-in-law: Billy Norton of Los Angeles, CA; three (3) grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
