OBITUARY
Sis. Beatrice McDaniel was born on December 16, 1920, in Mt. Holly, Arkansas, to the late Nelson Moore and Rossie Sargent Moore. After 92 years of life, she quietly slipped away on January 26, 2013, at Timberlane Health & Rehabilitation Center in El Dorado, Arkansas.
Beatrice was united into holy matrimony to Melvin McDaniel Sr. on October 21, 1939. To this union five children were born. A daughter, Florence Arnold, preceded her in death. She was also preceded by a grandson, Ray Arnold; a sister, Lillie Bryant; and two brothers, David Mullins and James Moore.
Beatrice united with Damascus Baptist Church in Mount Holly, Arkansas, at a very young age and later became a member of Friendship Baptist Church, where she was the Mother of the church.
She leaves to cherish her memories her husband, Melvin McDaniel Sr. of El Dorado, Arkansas; two sons Willie McDaniel of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and Melvin McDaniel, Jr. (Margaret) of Texarkana, Texas; two daughters, Eddie Mae Lee of ElDorado, Arkansas; Bobbie Moore (James) of Magnolia, Arkansas; three sisters, Lettie Mae Mullins, of Smackover, Arkansas; Leola Moore and Cathy Lewis of San Francisco, California; 14 grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren; 10 great-great grandchildren; three sisters-n-law Ester Childres of Mount Holly, Arkansas; Catherine Jones, of Muskegon, Michigan; Dorothy McDaniel of Little Rock, Arkansas; several nieces & nephews, along with two very special friends, Rosie Parker and Juanita Burris.
