    Obituary

Arlessie Roberson, the daughter of the late Artress and Daisy Cooper, was born
October 10, 1920 in Emerson, Arkansas.

Arlessie attended McMittress School in Emerson. She was a home care professional for 33 years with different families and prior to that she worked at Edmont Cleaners for 7 years in Houston, Texas.

She had one daughter, Dorothy Johnson, deceased, with LT Walker, who is also deceased. She married Jonesell Roberson who is now deceased. Her siblings are Edward Cooper, Lily Will Cooper, Odessa Moore and Eddie Cooper, all deceased.

She was a faithful member of Pine Hill CME Church since 1997 in which she was mother of the Church. As a member of Miles Chapel Church in Houston, Texas, she was a loyal choir member. She talked about her choir experiences often.

She was straightforward and loved helping family members.
She taught her grandchildren and great grandchildren how to play dominoes and cards. She loved telling stories and sitting and watching people on her front porch.

On Saturday June 23, 2012, Jesus called her to eternal rest in Magnolia Hospital.

We will miss the birthday cards with 2 dollars she would send.
