Obituary
Jimmy began this earthly life on May 19, 1971, to the late Gayle Fields Todd and Jimmy Todd, Jr. On Thursday, January 24, 2013, at UAMS, he peacefully made a transition from this earthen vessel to spend eternity with the Lord. Preceding him in death was: his mother: Gayle; two sisters: Stacey and Tracey; as well as his paternal grandparents: Jimmy and Gladys Todd; maternal grandfather: Melvin Fields.
Jimmy was a member of the 1989 graduating class of Stephens High School. After high school, he attended Oines Vo0Tech in Pine Bluff, AR. He was also a member of the US Army serving his country during Desert Storm.
He united with the St. Stephens Missionary Baptist Church as a child, under the leadership of the late Dr. Pete Lambert. As a youngster, Jimmy was active in church and youth activities.
Jimmy was an employee of Martin Gas Company in Stephens, AR as a truck driver, until his health began to fail. Jimmy was an empathetic, dependable, and conscientious person who came to the assistance of family and friends.
Jimmy is survived by his loving, supportive, dependable, and very devoted significant companion:LaTonia Christopher of McNeil, AR; his father: Jimmy Todd, Jr. of Stephens, AR; his brother: Jerrald (Terri) Todd of Little Rock, AR; his nephew: Jared Todd. He is also survived by three very special people: Jessica, Paris (P-Breezy), and Jaedyh (Bear); his grandmother: Annie B. Fields of Pine Bluff, AR; Aunts: Gladys (Willie) Easter and Patricia Todd of Stephens, AR and Diane (Jerry) Sutton of Bryant, AR; Uncles: Melvin Lewis (Verdia) Fields of Pine Bluff, AR; Johnny Fields of Little Rock, AR and Edgar (Carole Ann-deaceased) Jackson of Dallas, TX; Great Aunts: Emma Jean, Ethel, and Lorraine all of Chicago, IL. He futher leaves a host of cousins and relatives--all of whom he love deeply.
