Obituary
Sis. Bertha Mae Henderson Ellison was born on August 12, 1920 to Arlishea and Athelene Bradford Henderson. She was the fourth child of 10 other children. She departed this life on February 27, 2012.
She was united in holy matrimony to Eleon Ellison.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, four brothers and two sisters.
She confessed Christ early in life under the pastorship of Rev. A.L. Dias. She was a faithful member of the church until her health began to decline. Under the leadership of Rev. W.C. Tims, she served as secretary to the mission department and the church choir for several years. She was willing to serve in any capacity asked of her. She was a seamstress who knew how to make and design clothes. She will be remembered for telling her funny little stories to make one laugh.
She leaves to mourn, Ardis (Vera) Hendersonof Los Angeles, CA; Willie (Murine) Henderson of Los Angeles, CA; Ethel Henderson of Las Vegas, NV; nephew (son) Andrew Lee Henderson, Taylor, AR and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
