Obituary       



Alvin Cooper, Jr. age 55 of Little Rock, AR formally of McNeil. Alvin left this life on December 21, 2014 at Baptist Hospital.
He was the son of the late Alvin and Ruthie Wesley Cooper.  
Alvin was proceded in death by his parents and one sister: Jackie Cooper-Ellis.

Alvin attended McNeil public Schools, after graduating he attended SAU Tech in Camden, AR and then later went on to serve our country in the Army Reserve. Alvin married Debra Tayes. He was a member of the True Worship Center in Little Rock, AR 

Alvin leaves to cherish his memories: a son, DiVanci Harris and three (3) step children: Debra, Steve and Calvin. Three (3) sisters: Mary Brown of North Little Rock, AR, Leslie (Jeff) Lockhart of Jacksonville, AR and Demetria Lewis of Magnolia, AR. Four (4) brothers: Roy Lee Cooper of Emerson, AR, Willie Cooper of Camden, AR, Al (Kim) Jackson of McNeil, AR and Mark Cooper of Texas. Two (2) aunts: Hazel Dismuke and Mabel Turner both of Stephens, AR. One (1) loving uncle: Fred Alexander of Magnolia, AR, and one wonderful brother-in-law who was his truly best friend, Jeffery Lockhart. A host of nieces and nephews, cousin, and other relatives.
